Innovation and technology are developing rapidly and with these emerging dangers for homeland security are also increasing. Terrorists are constantly working to acquire weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and are aggressive towards the modern WMDs that they can use against the country. It is a nuclear, radiological, chemical, biological, or another device that has the intention to harm many people. These weapons are accessible in the global market which possess a threat to the homeland. DHS with its partners are evaluating how these technologies will harm homeland security and develop necessary solutions to prevent future risk and threats.
